Severe Landslide In Portsmouth Affects Railway Line To London Waterloo, UK
A severe landslide which happened between Liss and Liphook is set to cause travel problems for passengers into January. The line is shut between Petersfield and Haslemere in Surrey and the level of damage has been described as quite substantial. About half of London Waterloo station and some lines between Waterloo and Vauxhall are due to be shut tomorrow, affecting services from the south. South West Trains has advised customers to plan ahead before using the railway between Christmas and the new year to avoid delay.
