Chemical spill at medical centre; 9 requires medical treatment in Auckland, New Zealand

Chemical Spill Alert

The incident happened at the Dodson Medical Centre in Milford, and saw the St John Chemical Specialist Team attend, as well as a fire service hazardous materials unit.
 
Two people were taken to hospital with minor injuries, and one person at the scene is still being assessed.
 
The remaining six patients have been assessed and cleared.
