Thousands of dead fish found in a river in Jinotega Nicaragua

The inhabitants of the Cacao River, in Jinotega, whose waters pass through the Central American power plant, were surprised when they went to the river to wash clothes and others to their daily tasks because thousands of fish were dead.
 
According to villagers, the fish may have been poisoned. This river supplies the communities Quebrachal, Cacao down to near Santa Bárbara plant, where the producers use water for livestock.
