Part of the cliffs above a beach in Cornwall has collapsed during Storm Dennis.
Guardians who look after the coastline say that debris has crumbled in Newquay – and they have warned people to stay away.
Protectnewquaycliffs, a local group of residents seeking to protect and preserve the shore, tweeted these dramatic pictures as the county was lashed by heavy rain and strong winds.
Storm Dennis has caused chaos across Devon and Cornwall, with fallen trees blocking several major routes, including the A30. Other routes have been hampered by standing water.
The group has reported the slippage to Cornwall Council but has asked people to avoid the slip road at Great Western Beach over safety concerns.
