Holidaymakers heading to southwestern Europe are being warned to take extra care as Record-Breaking temperatures exceeding 40C is heading for southwestern Europe.

 

Tourists in Spain, Portugal and southwest France are being urged to prepare for extreme heat by staying inside during the hottest parts of the day and keeping hydrated.

 

The extreme hot air is coming up from North Africa.
