Plane Crash Kills 2 Near Telford, UK

Both the pilot and the passenger died in the collision near Shaw Lane, Shifnal near Telford.

 

Investigators are continuing their work at the scene of an aircraft crash which killed two people in Shropshire.

 

The light aircraft was heading for Shifnal Airfield when it crashed minutes from the runway yesterday, killing the two people inside.

 

Both the pilot and the passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.

 

Witnesses said they heard the engine stall before the plane fell from the sky.
